The New England Small Business Association is pretty amazing. 
They do incredible works for small businesses throughout the New England and help them not only create jobs, economic growth, and sustainability for communities but they recognize innovation and vision.
I have had the privilege of working with them for a few years now and telling their story always brings me so much pride.

This year we met a 13 year old innovator and celebrated his unique story with secret socks. Socks with a hidden pocket for people who may need medication to help with  sudden allergies in emergency situations so their medication and safety is always with them. 
To a team of dedicated and amazing individuals helping to identify disease and bacteria in water and creating ways to clean it preventing bacteria borne illness and death.
We met a duo of amazing women creating ice cream that everyone can eat without the lactose and shedding light on a new process to still have real ice cream without discomfort.
We met a man who created a paint that soundproofs a room!
The Guest speaker for the night was a man, who 20 years prior to the date, won a first place pride. He came back to speak and wowed all of us with not only a wealth of knowledge, but how this association changed his life. Reflecting back on his days as an award winner, he spoke of the change he experienced over the years both personally and professionally. It was a pretty amazing honor to hear him speak!

We celebrated SO many people and ideas.
